American DreamCard Platinum MasterCard is good for those who have good credit. This is issued by HSBC Bank Nevada, N.A. It is meant for those who want an average platinum card that has a monthly cash sweepstakes program.
The American DreamCard Sweepstakes program is made possible. As per this, for each dollar spent in balance transfers, cash advances and purchases there is one entry. If the cardholders apply online, they get 1000 bonus entries. Every month, there is a selection of one winner for the cash prize. The amount of this cash prize is 0.50% of the total amount of dollars spent by the American DreamCard cardholders in the concerned drawing period.
The American DreamCard has a referral program. For each referral, the cardholders are given 50 entries. If the referral becomes the cardholder, there is a signing bonus of 1000 entries.
The card does not have any yearly fee. There is also a reasonable interest rate on the purchases for those who have qualified. It must be kept in mind that the annual percentage rates of all transactions are associated with the maximum Prime rate for a three month period. Thus, the minimum possible interest rates can never be reached. Excluding the sweepstakes program, this card does not have any usual advantages that other platinum status credit cards have. So, those who are eligible for the least rate can take the benefit of the sweepstakes program and can opt for the American DreamCard.
This card does not have any introductory rate. The annual percentage rate for purchases is 14.99%. The annual percentage rate for cash is 29.99%. The disadvantage of this card is that there is high annual percentage rate for less qualifying applicants. There are no extra benefits or services.
To apply for the American DreamCard, the following information has to be furnished. The personal information encompasses – first name, middle name, last name, suffix, social security number, date of birth, email address, mother’s maiden name. The address information required is – current address, apt #, bldg #, city, state, zip code, residence type, home or cell phone number. The employment information needed is – employer name, work phone number, total household income employment status. This status has the following options – employed for more than 30 hours per week, employed for less than 30 hours per week, self employed, retired, student or others.
The American DreamCard has an optional credit protection. The cardholder enjoys the security that the account is safeguarded in the event of financial hardship or other life altering situations. In such conditions, no payments are due. There are no finance charges. There are no late fees or over limit fees.
This card has an introductory annual percentage rate of 0% for five months. The regular annual percentage rate is 12.99% variable. A very good credit is needed for this card. There is a credit line up to $25,000. It is possible to earn entries from everyday shopping. As the number of entries is more, it means there is a greater possibility of winning. There are also large monthly jackpots.
